Every year we ask local residents to give to New Castle Downtown. We wanted you, our supporters, to know that you’re making a big difference! There are things you can see, like beautiful flowers and fun art installations and an overall better appearance. There are also amazing returns on your investments that have resulted in actual economic development and revitalizations.
Beginning in 2014 our entire community has been working to redevelop our downtown. You all have volunteered almost 1,000 hours, created 13 new jobs and supported 7 new businesses.
For every $1 used to support our local Main Street program an average of $56 in new investment is leveraged. This makes us a very successful economic development strategy! When you come to our fundraiser this Saturday, September 14 at 6:30 you can feel good knowing that your $1 stretches to $56!! Come leverage your dollars and have fun.
