Henry County Business Resiliency Fund Announces First Round of Grants

New Castle Main Street announced today the first round of Henry County Business Resiliency Fund grant recipients. In total, $12,000 was awarded to the following businesses:

 

  • Professional Design
  • The Middletown News
  • Guardian Media
  • GumTree Properties
  • Whimsy N’ Such Properties
  • Legends Nutrition

 

Private and public donors have now contributed over $65,000 to the Henry County Business Resiliency Fund, including $40,000 to kick-off the funding from the Henry County Council and Henry County Commissioners, $5,000 from Duke Energy and $2,000 from Henry County Community Foundation.  

 

Donations to the fund will help businesses, pay rent, mortgage and/or utilities and adapt services that will allow them to function during quarantine. There is still time to be a part of the movement to support the Henry County Business Resiliency Fund. To donate, visit newcastledowntown.com or send a check to New Castle Main Street, 227 N. Main Street, New Castle, IN 47362. New Castle Main Street is a 501c3 non-profit and all donations are tax deductible.

 

Grants are administered by representatives from community, utility and government sectors across Henry County, Indiana.
