Donuts Take Center Court Where Hoops is King!
New Castle Main Street hosted an adrenaline-pumping, sugar rush extravaganza at the 2024 Jack’s Donuts World Donut Hole Eating Championship on Friday, May 24th, 2024.
This year, the competition was nothing short of legendary. James Webb shattered records and expectations, powering through a jaw-dropping 350 donut holes in just 8 minutes. Hot on his heels were Nick Wehry close behind at 317, making for a thrilling podium finish. The intensity didn’t stop there, with every competitor pushing the limits of possibility and pastry consumption!
“This event brings over 4,500 people to our downtown” said Emily Hurst of New Castle Main Street. “I love that it showcases my hometown in a fun, unforgettable way. The excitement that this competition brings to our community is electric!”
